MBI Retorno Inmobiliario Preferente Fondo de Inversión began operations in August 2024, with the goal of investing in debt securities from real estate companies with terms ranging from 12 to 36 months. The fund has a two-year investment window (2024 - 2026), with a total estimated amount of up to UF 1,000,000.
The Fund aims to provide liquidity to real estate managers and/or shareholders of real estate companies by purchasing and assigning promissory notes or other assets at a discount to their fair value. To determine the fair value, the team conducts valuations of the future cash flows of the real estate projects and determines the expected value of each deal.
